Is There Any Scope of an Innie to Become an Outie During The Course of Pregnancy?

Is there any scope of an innie to become an outie during the course of pregnancy?

Have you notice a belly button protruding during pregnancy. This would be at the dot of pregnancy. At this point of time are you concerned whether your baby has gone on to become an outie. It is on expected lines that your belly button will go through a lot of changes during the course of pregnancy. Most of them work out to be normal. There are a host of factors that go on to influence the changing of the belly button.

But the good news is that most of these changes are temporary and it will return back to the normal self once your pregnancy is over. Here we are going to discuss about a pregnant belly button pop out and all the surrounding facts associated with the same. A journey to motherhood does include some aspects that you have never been through. But all these changes do a welcome change of good things about to come.

What is the main reason for your belly button popping out?

Once the baby grows the amount of space in your belly remains restricted. This would mean that the baby does not have enough space to spread. Over the belly button there is a little bit of covering and as the uterus grows it can push up against it as well. The moment you notice that your belly button popping out, it means that you are close to the arrival of your little one.

The uterus is at an expanding phase and the main logic is that it goes on to make room. So the only way it finds is to push forward.  In fact some of the mothers are so tense that their belly button literally pops out. But this does not work out to be the cases as always.

The skin works out to be elastic, but it knows its limits at the same time. Trust me the belly button will not fall off in any way.

When is the time when the belly button is expected to fall out?

More often than not you can expect the changes around second or third trimester of your pregnancy. If a numerical figure has to be specified it would be around 26 week of pregnancy. You can say it like a time, once it is set the baby is ready to come out with the flash of a pan.

In case if the belly button has not gone to make an outward journey till now, there is no sense to be alarmed. Some belly buttons do not pop out and there is no major cause of worry. Some women have not had a belly button pop out and have gone on to deliver healthy babies at the same time as well. They do stay the same and become flat at the same time as well.

Sometimes mothers do notice the popping out of belly button in one pregnancy and not the other.
